January Favourites

Screen Shot 2017-01-27 at 23.52.07.pngWoohoo, we’ve just about made it through the ‘gloomiest’ month of the year! Between post-Christmas blues and the official ‘Blue Monday’ I think we all deserve a little pat on the back for getting through. Despite the bad reputation January gets there have been a few fabulous moments so far this year and I’ve also found a few new favourite things in 2017! Here’s a roundup of all the things I’ve been loving so far this year!

lumieLumie Bodyclock (£59.95)

I am such a morning person through the summer, but through the winter it’s so much harder to get up without natural light to get our body clocks started. Not any more!! This clock has been around a while but it only came into my life this month. It mimics a sunrise right in your bedroom helping you wake up naturally. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a calmer, more relaxing way to get up in the morning! 6am Yoga here I come!

÷ by Ed Sheeran (£0.99 each)

If you have not heard Ed Sheeran’s new songs this month then you must have been living under a rock! I have had them on repeat in my car and cannot wait for the new album. Whether your team ‘Shape of You’ or ‘Castle on the Hill’, both these songs are defo worth a download!

jessica-sepelJSHealth Girls

If you missed it on my Instagram then this month I was chosen to be a JSHealth girl / ambassador!! I am so excited to help share her message of well-being, and her ethos is largely similar to what I like to promote here on Living Energetically. My new JS family are such an amazing group of people and I’m so excited to get going. Live healthy, life mindfully and learn to love yourself! Her new book is out in the UK in March and I can already pretty much guarantee it will make it to the March Favourites List!

kayla-itinesThe Bikini Body 28-Day Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Guide by Kayla Itiness (RRP £18.99)

So usually I’m not one for anything which claims to be able to give you a bikini body in 28 days (I am defo team put a bikini on = bikini body!) but this book is my total exception. I love the pictures and recipes in this book. The recipes are laid out in days and give you so many different options. This is one of those books I wish I’d written!

daily-plannerDaily Planners (£46)

It’s a new year so far this has been one of my favourite items of 2017. I am fairly organised as a person but as my life has started to get even busier and my to-do lists have gotten even longer I really wanted to get a proper planner to help me keep on top of everything. I love this one by ‘Hello Day’. It has daily planners, to-do lists, clean eating plans, birthdays, accomplishments, goals, water tracker, exercise tracker, gratitude lists, and motivational quotes to help you work through your week. Having a planner helps keeps me organised, definitely makes my life easier while also keeping me motivated and calm. I highly Recommend!

protein-ball-coThe Protein Ball Co. (£19.50 for 10 x 6balls)

I couldn’t do a ‘Favourites’ post without something foodie to share with you. These protein balls have been around for a while but it’s only this month I finally tried their Goji & Coconut flavour and I have definitely been missing out. This flavour is vegan friendly and are 15% protein (perfect for an after workout treat)! They also do 5 other flavours (some vegan, some not) and so far, I haven’t found a flavour I don’t like.
