Kick Up The Hump (Day)

Hi All, I hope everyone is doing well! To those of you who follow my weekly Kick up the Humps you may have read last week that I’ve been to Krakow, Poland recently (and thoroughly enjoyed I may add).

while we were there we decided to visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp which was definately one of the most interesting and humbling things I’ve ever done!


This week I wanted to honour my visit there with a quote from a Holocaust survivor. It’s not the usual style of motivation for Hump day but I felt that this quote is a beautiful one that needed to be shared.

So although it may not be as comical, fierce or as fitness orientaded, it’s definately the most important Kick Up the Hump posts we’ve ever had. Life is precious and we should take every opportuity we get, stand up for what is right and above all else in this intance ‘never forget’.

Kick Up The Hump (Day)

Dzień dobry! I’m brining you todays KUTH all the way from Poland! A few days away sight seeing is just what the doctor ordered for this half term! So since I want to get back out and experience all that Poland has to offer I hope you’ll forgive me for keeping todays motivation a short one!

Since we’ve all been working very hard since January 1st I’m hoping you are starting to see a difference in your ability! To celebrate this, today’s KUTP is all about how far we’ve come!

Kick Up The Hump (Day)

Good Evening everybody! I hope your hump day is going well! To any teachers out there I think you’ll agree with me that the Hump day leading to half term is always one of the best!

I do have some sorry news to report though, the last couple of weeks I have seen a dramatic decline in the number of gym goers!! Seriously people where have you all gone! Healthy Living is for life not just January!

So todays kick up the hump is for those who have started to neglect the gym and find themselves thinking what’s the point! There is always a point! You’ve only truly failed if you stop trying! If you’ve had a few weeks of slacking at your new years resolutions it’s not to late! Get your bum in gear and keep trying!

Quinoa Crust Pizza

QP9It’s 6 Nations Time!!!!!!!!!!! As a Rugby mad house hold I think it’s safe to say we are excited!! Welsh internationals are probably my favourite days out, and the Millennium Stadium (I’m not quite ready to call it Principality Stadium just yet) is my favourite place in the world. There is nothing quite like it and if you’ve never been I recommend you add it to your bucket list! I’ve been going to home games religiously since I was about 16 with the same crazy crowd (pictured below). Kick Up The Hump (Day)

We made it!!! Go us! February is finally here and we have a whole 11 months until the next Gloomy January! Even though it’s February and we are now all becoming experts at what ever our new years resolution was we still need a good Kick Up The Hump!
So today’s is a bit of motivation to go that step further! Push your self and show your self just how much you’ve achieved in a month! If you’ve ran a mile, try running a mile and half; If you’ve been clean eating all January, try a new recipe; If you’ve learned how to deadlift, try going for a new PB!
Show yourself how far you’ve come! Happy Hump Day!!
